This home renovation in Houston’s River Oaks neighborhood was a successful collaboration by every measure!

This home renovation in Houston’s River Oaks neighborhood was a successful collaboration by every measure! Everyone involved in the project was positive, responsive, and eager to deliver the very best for this home and family. The homeowners were dream clients, remaining excited, involved, trusting, and positive throughout the process, even with the inevitable setbacks that a complex, whole-home renovation like this entails. The interior designer, Letecia Ellis Haywood, was extraordinarily talented and organized. AND the architect was responsive and adaptable. Building and renovating our homeowners’ dream homes is such a rewarding endeavor for our team, but collaborations like this make what we do even MORE rewarding!

Inspired by the homeowner to breathe new life into their mid-90’s stucco home, Letecia Ellis Haywood redesigned the exterior and interior of this home. An existing second floor balcony was removed from the front of the home, all quoins were removed, and the entire façade of the home was re-stuccoed and painted. The original Family Room windows and French doors were replaced with a glass and steel bi-fold door system opening up the inside of the home to the covered Loggia outside. All finishes throughout the home were updated, including all fireplace surrounds, countertops, trimwork and cabinetry, tile, flooring, and lighting.
