This home features a standing seam metal roof. The interior offers a seamless transition from the exterior with the use of the silver travertine flooring throughout. A few of the unique features include an extraordinary circular staircase, universal ceiling treatments, one of a kind light fixtures, and an ultra-custom pivot front door.
The design of the home was challenging as it had to conform to a triangular 2-acre site, bordered by a golf course on one side, a parking lot on another, while it fronted a major thoroughfare. The strategic use of walls, fencing, landscaping, and outdoor structures effectively created a very private setting for the home in a high-profile public location.
This architecturally authentic home was built with dual goals of sustainability and incorporating antique finishes. We used reclaimed Old Chicago brick on the exterior and interior of the home as well as reclaimed wood elements such as White Oak flooring, island countertop, and railroad trestles as beams.

This custom build offers extraordinary water views throughout the home. The classic Palladian architecture features cut stone blocking, stucco, and a clay tile roof. The interior offers solid Carrera Marble columns, plaster ceiling moldings, cherry cabinetry in the library and kitchen, and diamond plaster finished walls.
