It is always particularly exciting for us when our clients are able to move in and enjoy their new homes. During the past few months, three of our homeowners have had the pleasure of doing just that! Two of these recently completed projects are homes built in the Memorial area of Houston. The other project was a complete home renovation for a fantastic family in the Sweetwater neighborhood of Sugar Land in Southwest Houston.
The homeowners had been living in their custom home for over a decade raising four young children. Now that the kids have left the nest, they found their home to be outdated and in desperate need of some TLC. Our objective was to transform their space into a home where they could entertain, welcome long-term guests, and live comfortably.
We completely remodeled the kitchen, family room, formal dining and living rooms, study, master suite, several upstairs bedrooms and the pool house. In addition, all insulation was replaced with brand new foam insulation, a new slate roof was installed, an additional guest room was built into attic space, and every wall in the home was resurfaced. Outside, we overhauled more than an acre of landscaping and enlarged the outdoor living space by adding a pergola, fountain, and gravel sitting areas. Nearly all of the home and property was improved in some way.
It is very rare that our team takes on home renovations, but we are certainly glad that we had the opportunity to work on this one! Enjoy the before and after photos in the slideshow below.
